Genesee Gateway

BUDC is working with a group of developers to support the redevelopment project along an important stretch of road in downtown Buffalo. A long-dormant group of buildings along Genesee Street has been transformed into the Genesee Gateway. Genesee Gateway, LLC has invested more than $10 Million to rehabilitate the buildings into a mixed-use project with residential, office and retail components.

The Genesee Gateway Street-scape project supports the private investment through various street-scape improvements.  The project seeks to improve pedestrian safety, beautify the area and encourage further private investment, thereby transforming the area into a true gateway for Downtown Buffalo.
