BUDC Real Estate Committee - 2020 - 2021
The Real Estate Committee was established to oversee the Corporation's various real estate holdings and development projects. The Committee is responsible for oversight of real estate management activities, identifying future development projects, reviewing environmental conditions, advising on sale prospects and other related development matters.

BUDC Finance & Audit Committee - 2020 - 2021
The Audit & Finance Committee was established to provide assistance to the BUDC Board members in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities relating to accounting, reporting and regulatory practices. BUDC Governance Committee 2020 - 2021
The Governance committee was established in 2004 as the "Nominating & By-Laws Committee". It was re-established in 2006 as the Governance Committee in response to Public Authorities Accountability Act guidance. The Governance Committee is responsible for keeping the Board informed of current best governance practices, reviewing corporate governance trends, updating BUDC's corporate governance principles and advising those responsible for appointing Board members of the skills and experience required of potential Board members and to nominate candidates for the citizen member positions and various offices including Chair and Vice-Chair. The Committee also nominates candidates to serve on BUDC's various committees. BUDC Downtown Committee 2020 - 2021
The Downtown Committee was established in February of 2012 to serve as the initial BUDC Board of Directors oversight of staff, in connection to the initiatives outlined in the Buffalo Building Reuse Project (BBRP) Report. The BBRP was undertaken in response to a request from Mayor Byron W. Brown to the Buffalo-Niagara Partnership for the development of recommendations to improve the competitiveness of Downtown Buffalo in capturing new jobs and investment.
